If an indoor speculator took up beach play, what advantages might they have from having played indoor volleyball first? How might indoor skills translate to beach skills? What might the indoor player demand to learn to play beach volleyball? And what

Some critical skills to have are digging the ball, most nets are lower while playing on the beach. You have to be able to move around in the sand, which is really painfully to do. So you have to stay alert and be on your feet, because it is harder to get

Tenacity. Trust me, you think playing an indoors tournament is hard...try playing a beach tournament in 90 status weather! You definitely need to be in shape. You also need to be coachable. There are some things in beach that are a lot different from

Hurry, you dont push off in sand, you primarily pull with you lead foot.
Timing, you will need to acclimate to for the sand taking away some of your vertical.
Wind, best to train in some.

Can you jump and block higher when playing indoor or beach volleyball?

When you coverage indoor or beach volleyball, which can you jump higher or block at higher levels? Why? I would think beach would be more difficult. But I don't have a clue why.

When you recoil indoor because you have an actual hard surface to jump from.
Beach volleyball for one your barefoot and the sand is not hard but soft and is harder to jerk off from

Explanation has Beach Volleyball played a role in USA (indoor) volleyball poor showings at international competitions.

I recollect indoor hasn't been as successful as it should be not because of the AVP, but because of the lack of in indoor equivalent. If there was an indoor pro national league, our national team would probably accomplish at least more notoriety, and
