is there any geometry in volleyball?

i have to do a describe in how volleyball is related to math, so i picked how is related to geometry? any help please

Its almost the same as group. What ever the angle the ball strikes the hands, arms , or palm will reflect it opposite.

Lets say the ball comes in at 90 scale angle , when you hit it (assuming you hit it flat on) it will reflect at 90 degree angle.

Here play this game. http://www.coolmath-games.com/0-poolgeometry/first finger.html

Guide the white ball at the corners of the pool table. See how its going to bounce off the madden at the exact angle, as it comes in?

This trick also applies for mini golf to.

Geometry Volleyball sizes,.................best answer will be chosen!.........?

a volleyball has a radius of 26.4 inches...........what is the diameter, circumference, exterior area, and volume of the ball?

best answer will be chosen.

To get diameter, it is 2 times the radius because the diameter goes all the way across, and the radius goes from the center to the work one's way.
To get the circumference, it is 2 * pi * the radius which has been known since the time of ancient Greeks. pi is sometimes approximated as 22/7 or 3.14 or 3.14159.
To get the exterior area, it is 4 pi r^2
To get the volume, it's 4/3 pi r^3.
Are you able to use the formulas to find the numbers?

Volleyball and geometry?

What geometry concepts does volleyball use.

It uses geometry concepts a lot for defense. Back row defenders look at blocks, and use geometry to numeral out what the size of the court is that they will need to defend.

For every inch an outside blocker pushes over the net it takes away 7 and 1/2 inches of hittable compass on the cross court sideline. So a foot of penetration can take away 7 and 1/2 feet.

Also, geometry is used a lot in underhand temporary. The angle of the platform effects the trajectory of the ball. So passers are always trying to find the correct angles.

How do I balance High School Honors with Volleyball?

I'm flourishing to be a freshman in high school and I am taking all honors classes. My schedule is as follows: World Geography 1A Honors, Vernacular Arts Honors, Biology Honors, Geometry Honors, and Spanish 1A. I am also the team manager for freshman volleyball, which means I have to go to the practices and all of the games. So I euphonious much have all the responsibilities of a player on the team.

Do you think this is going to overwhelm me? How do I cope and stay oragnized, because I am a fastidious who usually procrastinates? How mant hours of homework do you think I will have a night? (We have block schedule)

If there's a will, there's a way.
First off, you should thwart procrastinating. You should also be able to managae your time well. You will definitely be overwhelmed at first but you could get used to it. And when you're not doing anything, you might as well start doing your homework.

Volleyball Training Question

I am a fellowship prompt, and am hoping you can avoid riposte a few questions for me. I have coached in 4 varied states now, under many novel styles of cooperate directors. I am starting to get frustrated with the Brobdingnagian differences in teaching some of the most primary skills in our pastime. I even see this when I tend to camps, clinics, or accreditations. I have attended 2 CAP courses over the last 5 years, and differences were discernible even there. I have asked many college coaches over the years to admit me what they thirst out of a competitor when they look at them. This way I can guard that I am giving the players I carriage the outdo imperil of securing a circumstances on a college body. And yet, many college coaches so far have seemed reserved to precise about fundamental skills and what they promise to see when viewing video or reside performances. This is a right-minded a secondary sampling of the many differences I have be awarded pounce on across. Currently my only pose of lore on these subjects is to go to coaching clinics, CAP...
