BBCOR stands for Bat-Ball Coefficient of Indemnity. In layman’s terms, it’s the bounce-back or trampoline effect the bat’s surface has when the ball makes contact with it. Aluminum bats perform differently with age. The older a bat gets, the more balls that get bounced off it, the more ductile its aluminum becomes. Will all softball leagues be switching to wood bats rather than metal ones?

There was a information story of a boy who was injured in a ball game from a metal bat. It was decided that all metal bats be changed to wood, both for boys, girls, men, and women. Who made this interchange and how did they (whoever "they "are)

That will never come off.

There is also a story about a minor league coach being killed by a batted ball from a wood bat! Should we now move to plastic bats?

Anyone have any input on wood bats in slow pitch softball?

I was reasoning about switching to a wood bat. Normally I use a demarini white steele 26oz or a worth michelle smith 25 oz when batting repair and an easton synergy 24 oz or TPS 23 oz batting lefty. Will I see a preformance inrease or deccrease when switching

I would deliberate on that your performance would decrease if you switch to a wooden bat. A metal bat would clearly be more powerful and would provide you with farther hits.

However, if your play is already below average, then not much
