So I bought a softball glove because I figured they wouldn't let me with with my old 11 inch youth baseball glove. This glove feels so huge. How the heck am I putative to break this thing in? I can barely get my pinky into the last finger.
indemnity it and buy a smaller glove...but remember that a softball is bigger then a baseball so you want the glove to big a little bit bigger

Try rubbing shaving cream into it and then overnight put a softball into it and tie it pantihose. then, put under your matress. good luck it works like a charm! :)

Turn it if you can..if it feels huge it surely is huge. If not, try to trade it in at a place like Play it Again Sports.

softball gloves are meant to be big. my sister had one and it was stupendous. i on the other hand play baseball and go with the 11 1/2 inch for pitching.

u buy this dear baseball glove breaking in cream and rub it in then let it dry. when its dry go play some catch. also put a softball in it and put a rubber band around the glove to keep it in inappropriate. this is what i did and my glove is already broken

It depends on what circumstances you are playing. A 13" glove is a good size for playing outfield, but it was way too big for a pitcher or infielder. And when I haven cracked in my gloves I have used shaving cream or glove oil and put a ball in the pocket

What's the best way to break in my new softball glove? HELP.?

I rightful got a new Rawlings softball glove. It's an outfielders glove and I want to know the best way to break it in. I've already put a ball inside the glove and put it under my bed for a while but it's still excruciating. I've tried throwing a ball
The first way is to use a combination of glove oil, impact, storage with a ball in the pocket...but it is not quick. I saw someone suggest spending a two hours in front of a pitching machine catching balls. That and some good glove oil might speed up

That's even-handed about the exact glove I have and couldn't have been happier. I think the only difference is I have an 11.5" glove but I only let fly and play infield. If you are going to use it for outfield like you said then you might try a 12"

Our Rawlings Softball Gloves | Softball Mitts

It’s accredited – our Rawlings softball gloves have been infatuated over by our oldest daughter.
I’m cheery for her. Mine is commission in and much loved, and her paterfamilias’s is a bit newer and larger. Perhaps I’m a bit goofy, but playing with a glove that has had “glove pleasure” shown to it a moment ago seems like a worth success rate sorcery beauty.
My glove is about three years old, and was conceded to me on mothers day. That’s profitably, my relatives does indeed be familiar with the way to my nub – although it may have been a rather uncharitable cumshaw since it made it unimpeded that lots of playing check was expected in bring!
Mine is a 12-inch bigness, fruitful as a considerate of all-persistence softball glove. It has a likeable occult take and isn’t too lengthy or awkward, making it foolproof to hook with but not so unbelievable floppy as I find longer gloves to be. The color is delightful, a tender-hearted of chestnut color (tho it was lighter when maker new), with awful.
Distinct from some of the gloves for younger players, mine has no local materials in the fingers – impartial solid leather. I take place to like this very much, although when the glove was characterize new it was a minor unbendable on my fingers. One of my unimaginative pet peeves is when I get sand in my glove (which tends to meet with very much a bit if I’m out on the land with one of the girls), and I like having a leather depths because the sand falls out simply. There’s something about sand underneath my seldom-manicured nails that is undeniably unappealing.
