Madness in the Moonlight
Regardless of the constant thunderstorm warnings, lightning and drizzle last weekend, the city of Henderson's 23rd Annual Midnite Psychosis Softball Tournament last weekend was its biggest yet.
"We had a record turnout," said Ted Lockamon, recreation supervisor for the metropolis's Parks and Recreation Department.
Teams played straight through the wee hours of the night and into the sunrise over the weekend at Arroyo Grande and Russell Entr recreation complexes and Dos Escuelas Park in Henderson.
After City Councilwoman Kathleen Boutin threw out dignified first pitch for the Co-Rec Division, teams from Nevada, Arizona, California and Utah played softball from 7 p.m. Friday until twelve o'clock noon Saturday, when Co-Rec winning team "Bomb Squad" from Los Angeles defeated "Z Squad" from Las Vegas.
The marathon games then began again Saturday ceaselessly at 7 p.m. and lasted into Sunday morning, when the men's final game was played and the "Sin City Stars" from Las Vegas defeated "Link up Diesel," also from Las Vegas.

It does steal the ball pop off the bat. I think the Miken Rain is best for younger and smaller
