The following are pr reports of items discussed at the July 12 meeting of Highlands East council.

Swimmers looking to vanquish the heat don't have to wait anymore as the recently renovated pool in Cardiff was reopened on July 15.

Environment foreman for Highlands East Glen Covert told members of council the pool was approximately half-full of flood as of July 12 and would be ready to go for the upcoming weekend.

During the past few months the swimming facility has been undergoing a integer of recommended structural upgrades, primarily focused on the concrete deck surrounding the pool.

"The pool looks pronounced," said Ward 1 Councillor Steven Kauffeldt.

Covert said the pool would likely be open until the end of August provided lifeguards were to hand to work. He said he had already confirmed one lifeguard was available and willing to work.

In the past the pool has remained unfastened until the end of the third week of August.

This summer the pool will be open on Sundays for the duration of the season.

Yep, it's a jet toggle switch. At least those models sold here in Canada, under our codes do. If you want it to run through the Aqua Link, you call for to wire both the high and low sides (bypassing the switch) to the box and use an auxillary spot in

Some pumps have a start and run capacitor, it sounds like the centrifical exchange is not letting it go to the high speed capacitor.

Why does my 2 speed pool filter have low pressure while ran on low speed setting?

Will it still go round good while like that?

If the squeezing is normal from past usuage, it should filter fine.

Lower pump speed pushes less water through the energize.

If your new to it, watch and record how long you ran it on low speed, and the pool's condition.
