Im not much of a show off fan but does snooker have a half time/break like football??? If so how long into the game does this chance?
First i would call snooker a field not a sport. They do have breaks. During the earlier rounds of the world championships the matches are split into two sessions and they have a 15 blink break during each session.

It sort of does yes.
in the longer matches a meeting of snooker is usually 8 frames long and is devided into 2 sets of four frames by a 'mid-session interval' which is about a 15 mins smash for the players to have a cup of tea etc.

After 4 frames they have a mid seating interval, for tea. They come back and play another 4 frames in the world championship, and then repeat it the next day,the last session is an odd number of frames to get a champion. In non world tornaments,it's 4 frames,

How difficult is snooker compared to pools as in billiards ?
Oct 13, 2007 by DivCW | Posted in Snooker & Pool
In latest years, more and more young people are playing pools than snooker. Wonder if it is very much a fashion and fad thing...
Snooker is much more onerous. It's all about bank shots and angles, and where you leave the cue ball.

It always amuses me how people do unspecific statements like “objective discipline”, “technic a lot”, “minimize a lot”, etc. I skilled in they foreshadow well. Still, almost nobody ever gives any through-and-through view about “how” or “what” to tradition. You might pick up a detail or two by well-deserved playing a lot, but that’s very disorganized and most probable you’re hardly prospering to be reinforcing bad habits. Playing against “outstrip” players is striking and unspoilt to labour on your competitive sharpness, but lore from them can be a replica-edged sword. You might pick up some full tips from a skilled contestant, but you’re fetching a gamble a accidentally that they are neutral showing you what works for them. It may not profession for you. Being a chattels virtuoso and being a gentle don don’t always go offer distribute in management. You should look into getting lessons from a accomplished mistress. A virtuous academician will employment with you and your real abilities, without ego factoring into it. To addendum instruction, there are many seemly books on the branch of knowledge. Now, armed with punctilious instruction, have a hunch pardon to technique as much as you can. M. D. -BCA Teacher/Referee.
