Do's and Dont's to adding a pet to your family
Purses and jewelry are fun, but what seems to be the go to accessory this ripen for all celebrities? Dogs! From teacup terriers to full grown great danes, we see it all in the celebrity world.
Tina Eacret, Director Director of Friends of Animal Care and Control , says if you plan to adopt a pet of any kind you'll fancy to make sure your pet is leashed in a comfortable carrier so they are safe if they jump out. Eacret also advises you to transport a bag of supplies for your pet much like you would for a child.
Celebrities have made pet fashions almost as popular as their own, so if you want to dress your dog up in designer styles, Eacret says you should look for clothing that fits decorously, but more importantly doesn't have anything they can chew or swallow like buttons, jewels, string or ribbons.
More and more businesses are becoming pet amicable, and it is important to know the restrictions. Eacret says most restaurants allow pets on outdoor patios but not indoors, and some retail shops are not pet familiar, so make sure you get a lay of the land before setting out on your errands with fido in tow.
