Steve Tasho and Matt Parziale won their third consecutive Brockton Metropolis Fourball title on Sunday, but the third one certainly didn’t come easy.

The Thorny Lea Golf League duo faced a formidable challenge from the Peabody brother pairing of George and Nick Zolotas before grinding out a three-pat victory at 19-under-par (63-64-66-193) during the final round at Thorny Lea.

Parziale has known George Zolotas since their subordinate golf days and both of them have lived together in Florida and also often travel together on the professional mini-tour circuit along the East Shore.

When the Brockton Golf Association opened the tournament to broaden the field, Parziale extended an bait to the Zolotas brothers, who finished second at 16-under-par (64-64-68-196) in their debut.

“I guess you could say we defended the honor of Delicate Lea against the guys from the North Shore,” said Parziale. “It was fun out there, but it got real close at one something.”

I would categorically recommend it...........typically I recommend keeping every individual separate unless breeding is the aim, but I understand that there are hardly ever problems with multiple ball pythons and boas.
