When I was a mini kid, before TV, I remember people in my small town "visiting" with each other on Saturday night. One of the games I memorialize is crokinole. Do you know of similar games?

my first job when I got of school was working at Bentley's Sporting Goods Store. They made the crokinole boards among other items. They are out of business now.

These things are about a meter across, and made of dull wood, so this isn't a trivial event. The rules are upright. Each build, you flick one disc from your side of the board into the center. If there aren't any of an contender's discs there, you can aim for the center jail (you get 20 points if you get a bullseye). You trouble to at least get your stab into the center hoop, otherwise it's removed from about b dally. If there are already discs in the drama, then you have to hit an inimical disc. If you leave out, it's like your stab doesn't even figure up and your disc is infatuated off the board. If you at least strike one, though, your disc gets to stop in fritz and, potentially,...
