Intelligence item: Chan Gailey will be introduced as Buffalo's new coach today, and the Bills are laying low beforehand, qualified they're going to get rapped heavily for it and figuring they should put on a united front when they make their case. Four observations:

1. Easy to bop the hire. The Bills brought a batting-practice pitcher to the mound and put A-Rod and Pujols up to bat, so I'll knock it first, then give it the orison of the chance it has.

Where was the Mike Zimmer interview? It was a big mistake not to interview the Cincinnati defensive coordinator who has turned his portion into a tough day at the office for any NFL offense. Zimmer, I can assure you, would have walked to Buffalo for the job. But he didn't get a sniff. And the listing of guys who turned down the chance to even talk about the job ... it's so long that the only conclusion you can logically draw is the Bills are turning into the Raiders. I agree - lose the boots. I like the cowboy boots/short dress look, but not at a pool party. Get some high strappy heels.

football pick em pool?

i dont understand what the points aspect of a football pool is. for example: this week the chicago bears are favorite to the dallas cowboys for 3 points. what does the 3 points mean?

guess you're not a gambler...

Basically the point spread is a tool Vegas uses to 'even the odds'... In your example, if all things go according to plan, Chicago should win by 3 points.

If you bet on Chicago to win, they have to win by 3 points in order for you to win the bet. If Chicago wins by 2 or 1, Chicago wins the game, but you lose the bet.

Now conversely, if you bet on Dallas, you GET the 3 points... meaning that if Dallas wins or loses by less than 3 points, you win the bet, so its possible for Dallas to lose the game, but you win your bet.

and the number one reason why I cant stand when a country song comes on the jukebox at a bar......Every dude with a cowboy hat startst to sing to each other while every girl looks on:(

How do I verify the authenticity of some coca-cola posters.?

I am trying to verify the authenticity of three coca-cola posters that I have .On the bottom of one of the posters (a girl on a ladder in a pool) is written “COCA-COLA IS A REGISTERED TRADE MARK OF COCA-COLA Ltd. (the letter c in a circle) 1942 THE COCA-COLA COMPANY ALL RIGHTS RESERVED”. On two others posters of (a cowboy) is written “COCA-COLA IS A REGISTERED TRADE MARK OF COCA-COLA Ltd. (the letter c in a circle) 1941 THE COCA-COLA COMPANY ALL RIGHTS RESERVED”.Any information would be appreciated.
