I'd say the shorter tables, tatty felt and indeed the bigger cue ball. Coin-op pool is just a whole 'nother ball game -- slop shots, foggy conditions, wider pockets with banking much lesser of a lender. I'm lousy on the bar tables and do OK for myself

Beneficent question. The main difference is that coin operated tables usually have a return slot for the cue -ball which means that the cue - ball is indeed bigger than all the other balls which means you have to compensate by hitting the objects balls less

The coin operated tables have an inner chutes system connected to the table pockets. Each antiquated a ball drops into a pocket, a chute delivers it to a storage area and leaves it there until another player puts in a coin to set out on the next game.

is it possible to convert a pool table into a coin operated pool table?
Jan 26, 2009 by Elektra | Posted in Snooker & Pool
i have a equiangular pool table and i want to put it in a lounge and turn it into a pay to play table. anyway my table can be converted...
I want it to be official. whether it accepts coins or dollar bills... as if it were in a genuine pool hall.
I'd say it is easier even-handed to keep the balls and if someone wants to play they have to pay you to get the balls.
